Well, its official. I am now an employee of the Ford Motor Corporation [sm=guilty.gif]. My friend just got me a job with him at a dealership near by changing oil at $14/hr plus full benefits. Sure beats the hell out of the $6.50 plus commission i'm making working retail right now. So this means i'll have rent payed by the first week of the month and the rest is all money for the civic. Anyone else think its ironic that fords money will be used to buy a turbo kit for a honda?

Why are they paying you $14/hr to change oil? More importantly, how can I get a job like that? There is a Ford dealership like 2 min from my house.

Union job with no union dues? Worked for UPS over the holidays years ago and the pay was great except for having to fork over over $700 in initiation dues and bi-weekly dues. My hourly rate after all the deductions was the square root of ****! . Anyway,congrats! You're moving up and that's always a good direction.
