Mind you this is not a biased statment. I dont really take sides in domestic cars but here is my take.
I will say as oposed to the GM fans but this a very true. Ford does tons of R&D on those trucks. It explains it even further on why it takes them so long to produce and entire new truck because of the R & D. They are actually built better. They use bigger bolts, rivets and generally are sturdier and have an insanley tough frame. Typically, you'll see more old *** fords on the road than chevy's. Id say in my observations that the ratio of old chevy and ford trucks I see on a daily basis are about 7 out of 10
My grandfather sold nothing but GM cars and trucks his whole life. He became a millionaire he sold them so well. He was always very proud about the products he sold and was eager to tell you about them and how great they are However, I think it says a lot when my grandfather said till the day he died that Ford always made a better truck.

bs. show me proof. ford and the other domestic can't even sell there cars. they have to give them away. "ford family pricing"? honda and toyota never done that. they opened a domestic car plant up here in windsor. brand new plant. and not one car was every made in there. cause no buys.
