I recently got my computer running again from a virus and everything is working great except for one thing. When I try to copy and paste things wont work. I tried both right clicking and Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Nothing works. Any ideas on whats wrong?

 

Describe a situation in which it happens. by that i mean are you trying to cut and paste a pic from the web into a folder or graphic editor? Or is it all the time, like text and everything?

 

You aren't using Firefox by any chance?

 

Yes, I am using firefox.


An example. I highlight a word in the forum and go to google and hit Ctrl+V and nothing. I try right clicking on a word and selecting copy and then when I go where ever I right click and try to put paste but paste is dimmed out so I cant click it. Like I normally use it when I want to post a pic I right click and choose "copy image location" then I try to paste that in the forum and it wont work.

 

It must be a conspiracy.......they're on to you!

 

Hmmm...I use FF and it's working fine. Try checking for updates or completely reinstalling.

 

Yeah, Ive always used firefox and it has always worked fine. Until latley.
