Default I need more computer tech help from you all

Just got my DSL up and from the help of HCF got my sound working good and now I have been watching videos like crazy.

My new problem, I go to www.streetfire.net and try to watch the video but it starts playing and starts tripping over itself and the video gets all messed up. Normally I would just move the lil box that slowly rides to the right to the left to let it download more before watching the vid, but that lil box isnt there and the pause button and rewind and back buttons arent bold so I cant use those. ANyone know why this might be?

Try using www.winamp.com to view video. It works good for me.

Do you have anything processing in the background like a download or something? becasue that will cause that streaming video to trip like that. Streaming video detects your proxy setting and buffers accordingly, so if your computer can't keep up it will do that.

Or you might be using an old-*** video codec. If you want, go to www.sourceforge.net and search for ffdshow. It's an open-source codec pack that might help.

I agree with Street Sniper. If u have stuff downloading, in your case probly the hardcore stuff, then it is really goin to screw with it. U could always see if u get any options if u right click on the video screen and see if there any options. Another thing to consider would probly be to right click on the link and click on save target to.... and download the actual vid.

No, nothing else is downloading also.

It is only that type of video veiwer (that they use in that particular website) that messes up, when they use like the windows media player or the Q one (I dont know what it is but before it starts it as a Q in there) the work 100% fine.

Where can I download the new version?

OH and Ill never stop with the ****
