idk, i like it in the middle, most people don't really concern themselves with the speed they travel anymore these days anyway, so it makes sense to push it to the side, lol.

 

I saw a 599 GTB yesterday, not surprising in Calgary, but considering the fact all the sand/gravel is still on the road from the winter, I was a bit shocked.

 

IMO, the tach should ALWAYS be larger than the speedo, and right in the middle.

I don't like it like that simply because I can pretty much tell what RPM's I'm at just by listening to the car.

I can't tell at all.. it's just all LOUD to me. RPM > Speedo (especially at higher revs)

 

Let me ask you this. Why do all purpose-built race cars have tachs if they're not that important?

 

Cause the tach manufacturers are lobbying all race teams to have their products and support the economy!
