Oh, and I can also tell how much horsepower I make via a butt dyno. So dyno manufacturers are also useless.

 

listening to the RPMs is great when you're not trying to nail a certain spot in the powerband within a few rpms. Daily driving, that is a perfectly fine method to use, but not when you're ripping around a track at the top of the band.

I perfer having the tach in the middle because I do not drive with a gangsta lean, and would much rather have a clear view of my tach than my speedo.

 

Actually to be honest I never look at my speedo. I'm ALWAYS checking my rpms though.

 

+1, tach is much more important

glad that neither my tach or speedo is in the center, but they're equally spaced from the center of the cluster.
