immaturity doesn't only apply to domestic lovers
This thread makes me laugh.... because most of the time it's the import owners that are immature... I'm a former domestic owner... and a true domestic lover... the funniest thing was all the Civics and whatnot that revved on me... and of course... the neighbor with the stock SE-R that always talked trash... until I smoked him... twice. I am not dissing Civic owners (since I am one now) I'm just saying that most of the immaturity generally starts with the import owners (as many of them are 16-19 years old... and haven't grown up yet)... I will admit, however... I've met many domestic owners that are idiots... unfortunately... they're out there...
Oh...
and here's my "baby"

Sold 'er in '02 to be able to afford a house... now I have a kid... and not much of a chance to get another one...

^^i kinda agree with you on that and i kinda dont. yeah, a ton of the immaturity comes from teenagers driving civics with fart cans...but a lot of bull**** comes from domestic drivers too. ever been to somewhere like streetfire? or a mustang forum? their off topics are basically centered around bitching about imports...specifically civics. but you come to forums like this, honda-tech...etc...you find theres a lot less of it there. im not saying it doesnt happen...but you have to admit that there are just as many immature domestic drivers out there as there are immature import drivers.
i dont know. sometimes i think that the reason that there are so many kids out there revving at domestics is because theyre afraid their going to get picked on by the domestic driver. 'best defense is a good offense' and all that ya know?

I don't think reving at someone is necessarily immature. It just means you want to race. If the person drives like an idiot after the race tho (not shutting down/fly by), then yeah that's immature. But not just reving.
In complete honesty, I've met very few mature domestic owners, and very few immature import owners. Mind you, I consider closed-mindedness a form of immaturity, and idiocy and immaturity normally go hand-in-hand. Not hating on intelligent open-minded domestic owners, I applaud anyone who is intelligent and open-minded, but the rest... I guess can consider themselves hated on. Call it bias if you must, but I assure you my observations are pretty genuine.

As a former domestic owner... I can also agree... as I said... I've met many idiots who drive domestics... but then again... as I stated... there are a lot of immature teenagers driving civics... because that's the "fad"... I also agree about this forum. I was very reluctant to join a Civic forum because of my dealings with Civic owners in the past... especially having a domestic pony car... I was very impressed with this forum and it's "un-ricey-ness"...
Also... revving on someone you know will SMOKE you... that's immature... then again... so is street racing period. (I will admit... I've been immature at times... used to street race, myself) The problem with many of the "immature" people... they don't know their limits... or the limits of their car... and that creates a dangerous situation...

when they break it down like that its mainly to talk about the domestic or import enthusiasts...i dont see how its immature...not everyone likes both worlds...but that doesnt mean they cant accept both either...
But what is "domestic" and "import" really. All it does IMO is profile people that drive them. Like I said I thyink it is stupid, I can understand if you have a distaste for say Chevorlet, or Ford, Nissan, or Honda but it to me is dumb when you generalize these cars all in one group because where the company is based. That is like saying Wal Mart kicks *** only if you go to the one in this state or that state. Why is it better? Because it is in a certain state.....ok?
"Likes both worlds"? It is one world, they are all cars with their pro's, con's, attributes, and flaws.
