job fair
I am going to a job fair today.I would like to know if anyone has been to one,and if they have any advice.I have never been to one but i am guessing it is like speed interviewing.I have made a bunch of resume for each job.I am leaving soon and if anyones got any advice it would be appericated thanks Nate.
Not sure if this would apply to you, but the grocery store I used to work at, would have job fairs, and they would do interviews right there on the spot, instead of applying then waiting for an answer, ect.
Good luck though!

Well, here goes. Dress professionally and look professional, no matter what type of position you are looking for. Don't feel like you have to stop at every booth. Try and limit to the ones you're interested in and may know a little something about. Don't hang with anyone, they'll bring you down and distract. Thank the person for their time and give them a FIRM handshake. Don't be too nervous. Oh yeah and Good Luck

Yes there was like all military branches there. But it was more a career fest then a job far.The good thing about the trip was I stoped at brownsville body shop and they need a guy.I talked awile with him and he said he was going to talk with the owner and give me a call.
