i dont care if its a pos... im stillll!!!! getting the car ive wanted for the past 6 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


also my sister and i are gonna rebuild my civic... soo 92-95 coupe parts are appreciated... we are gonna put a body kit on it... and shave the doors... repaint it pink with metallic flakes... work all dun by me.. then turbo it.... then its gonna be my sisters daily driver for a while... and im getting the sol.. doing about the same thing to it.. but im gonna probably go a red flake.. im sick of blue stuff... soo feel free to input...

hope you guys dont shun me for driving a sol..instead of the civic.. for the time being

 

they can be fast!!!! i like how they look too, good luck with it, put up pics of both cars too!!!

 

i'm glad your getting a sol. no civic is as exciting to drive as a del sol with the top off at redline with a vtec wail filling your ears

Turbo spool/SC whine > ever so sudtle exhaust change of vtec

 

actually any engine noise from NA vtec or a turbo/supercharger will sound so much better with the wind going throught your hair, kinda like your flying, but in a regular ho hum civic it is not nearly as fun even though it might be faster

 

oh god what have i started... right now the del sols a 15 block with a 16 head.. soo its getting the b 18 if i can find one.. or maybe a b 16... if the engines bad im gonna drop the one from the civic in it....i started working hard core on the civic today... cleared out the whole thing just about... minus the junk i dont wanna take out yet...

i also... started making the shape of the wide body i want... im gonna try to do it myself... brings the damn body out 5 inches!

now as for the sol.. its gonna be here hopefully this week.. just waiting on the 2 middle men i cant shake...

my interested list of mods i wanna do to it are the engine swaps... maybe a supra light conversion.. street fighter one front bumper...

then my buddy is a whiz at doing carbon fiber covering.... like.. real carbon fiber.. not just a vinyl.. soo im gonna try to see if he will layer over my hood/ trunk/ targa top... which i think will be interesting... ive never seen a c/f targa... then maybe he could do my fenders also..... haha... but i think thats a lil much.. if i dont do the c/f targa im gonna mold a roof scoop in.. yeah i know its ricer.. but.. i want it to look good... not like the targas gonna be on most the time...

cause i mean.. my mom was talking to some girl the other day in the library who was talking about how she wanted kids.. and my mom was like.. u can have my 4 and they come with a minivan.. and she was like.. how old are they... so my mom was like.. 8-19... and the girl was like.. no thats too old.. i want lil kids.... then about 5 mins later i walked in.. and was talking to my mom..and my mom heard the same girl go.. damn... and whispered something to the other girl that was with her... haha i thought it was funny

 

so, how are you actually gonna make this wide body? it looks sik like that, it should look good when your done!

 

from here im gonna do the other side.. make sure i can get my door opened.. then fiberglass it... after fiberglassing a few times on the body.. im gonna take it alll off... sand it smooth ... then maybeeeeeeee just mayybe... my buddy will be able to carbon fiber it.. which even though its ricerish..i think it would be interesting... but.. if he cant.. ill bondo over it... smooth it out.. and paint it the pink my sister wants the car...after i mold it to the car of course... im thinking im gonna put in some supports also soo the thing doesnt collapse on me one day... its gonna be fragile as all heck.. but it should look good.. haha
