master of champions (drift)

did anyone catch the master of champions show last night??? the first act was drifting. they had two people ive never even seen nor heard of in the drifting world, but i dont know that much about it so i could be clueless. anyway they had to basically do burnouts around a tray that had a hunk of cheese on it. the cars were equipped with a cheese grater on it and they had to take off as much cheese as they could in like a min or so. no to me thats really good car control but nothing to do with drifting. i could be wrong but i dont think that did anything good for the sport of drifting.

i didn't se it, but with the cheese grater, i gues it would just to show who had the most control of their car, cause i guess if you can't control the car arround a piece of cheese then you can't drift:D lol

i agree with that it did take a lot of car control but i still dont think it was justice for actually drifting. and yea it was funny because the second guy to go out (the first was actually a girl) he ended up shredding like 4-5 lbs of cheese but there was so much cheese on the floor it hit the exhaust i do believe and caught fire. didnt expect to see that happen

sorry but this may be a differant show

BUT taping a bottle opener to the skid of a helicopter and opening a bottle as you fly over without shattering the bottle is much more impressive

haha, I watched that! I was just flipping through the channels and saw a 350Z spinning in circles, inside a small ass space in a building, and then they showed cheese flying everywhere. [sm=WTFsgign.gif]

It was kinda cool though, definitely shoed excellent control by the drivers
