Mclaren F1 vs R33 skyline

If you don't even know what a Z-tune is, how can you make any sort of claim about it or its performance numbers? It is a stock car, perfectly road legal with fairly modest power numbers, for a fraction of the cost of either of those cars. McLaren and Bugatti both actually lose money every time they sell an F1 or a Veyron. And unfortunately, you gravely underestimate the Z-tune. Sure it looks like a box to the untrained eye, but so does an FQ400... Let's just say that it did the quarter mile in a hair over 10 seconds during TESTING.
And Agent, you are also mistaken. It does outhandle them both. It's essentially built for circuit driving, except it's street legal. The suspension alone is worth $20,000, and the body is 100% carbon fiber. C'mon, we're talking about NISMO here...

how can you be so sure? And besides, WTF is z-tune anyway? We are talking stock cars here. I'm sure that a race-spec F1 will rape that "world - famous" z-tune skyline. Even if the skyline is faster off the line, F1 or Veyron would certainly achieve higher speeds faster, because skyline has aerodynamics of a box

I think due to the fact that is costs less than 1/5th as much as an F1/Veyron, it's fairly acceptable to call it stock. Just think of it as a stock car manufactured by NISMO...
And drbyers, I'm afraid md is right about the 2JZ. It's a bit overhyped. Sure, it can put down big numbers, but a MK-IV isn't a solid circuit car, and they don't drag well. Dyno-queen is a good way of putting it, but anything you can do to a 2JZ, you can do bigger and better to an RB26 (except maybe displacement...).
And when he said 1,000 hp, keep in mind that that was on a stock bottom end. I have yet to see that on a 2JZ...

ive seen over 1400 on a stock crank, but the rest of the motor was worked.
and of course its a dyno queen, especially at those numbers. ive ridden in a 400+ whp Vette that would step sideways around corners, with traction control, on 15" slicks. theres no way in hell you could keep 1000+ hp to the ground on a road course, esp in a RWD Supra.

yeah, ill take the Z-tune over the henessey anyday. the Viper *might* win in quarter mile (doubtful) and should win top speed. but im still thinking that if an ordinary person were driving each of them, the guy in the Skyline will stomp on the guy in the Viper. pro race drivers might make it a little more interesting, but ill still take the hand-built, Carbon-bodied AWD Skyline.
