So Ill be coming down to Myrtle Beach for a month in Maywithmy bestfriend and his dad. They're going down to check it out and see if he can get his business started up (blinds and drapes) with all the new homes being built. So I've been wanting to get out of PA for a long time. Anyone know any good sources for apartment (not vacation) listings and jobs in that area. All I can seem to find is stuff on Vacation rentals. Is anyone in that area also? I figure it will be neat going back there seeing as how I was born there but dont remember a thing about it.

 

just steer clear of the immediate beach/tourism areas. rent is a **** in those places.

the more further inland, the cheaper the rent.

and you're gonna LOVE the summer time, my friend.

 

When you get there hit me up. Im only two hours away form there. Tell your friends dad to check out Charleston too. TONS of development going on down here.

 

Awesome Ill let him know. Weve been looking at condos close to the beach for the first month since thats sort of a vacation. but after that Ill probably move a good 30-45 min away from the beach. Which is still a hell of a lot closer then the 8 hour drive from pittsbrugh to the nearest beach lol. Im looking to start exercising my bartendling license once we get down there. There just isnt enough night life in PA for it. But inMyrtle beachI cant wait haha

 

I use to live at the state park cause my step dad was a ranger there which is right next to the strip.Its really busy and jobs pay really good I was making 12hr at food lion bagging grocerys.Like Remmy said try Charleston its close and the price of living is cheaper.
