I went on vacation last week to visit my uncle in South Carolina... in travelers rest. And got offered a job at advance auto parts as assistant manager. Since I hate my job... and new york, I'm moving the beginning of June. I was just wondering if there was anyone around that area, and if anyone could give me any pointers on what to do to keep myself occupied down there.

 

Im in Charleston, I go through Greenville often on the way to the mountinas during the summer.

 

i'm not from there but my uncle lives in clemson and i drive thru travelers rest all i can say is pray j/k theres not much to do there from what ive seen good luck . but there is mountains

 

I definitely noticed there's not much in traveler's rest... But I figured that maybe somewhere close there would be something to do... lol. It's a lot nicer down there than new york. And I wont have to worry about the snow in the winter No more winter beaters. lol

 

There are plenty of things to do in Greenville.

 

you will be near spartinburg /greenville /clemson oh and it does snow bad there every now and then thats were they had the real bad ice storm last year but its not that bad

 

It does snow... but nothing like up here. And the roads aren't ****. Up here almost all the roads are nasty, pretty much eaten away by the salt. And just overall the area is better.

 

no the snow isn't that bad and your right they have good roads .oh i forgot your close to the beach to good luck in your new job

 

Thanks on that... What beach is it near, I didnt hear anything about that when I was down there. And yeah, I always wanted to move down south, and with finding this job, it makes it that much easier.

 

myrtle beach is about 4 1/2 hours from spartinburg so just a guess maybe 5 to 5 1/2 hours
