I think it is very diaponting that the mustang (stock of course) v6 producees only 210hp, while the 350z (only comes in a v6) produces 300hp. Heck the only comparable mustang, is the Mustang GT which only produces 300hp for a V8, come on Ford its a V8, give me at least 360hp. In my opnion the mustang really isn't that fast. The only reason I see people buying the Mustang GT, is b/c of the retro look. 350z ownzzzz. What do you think.
P.S: I dont hate Mustangs, actually the fastback from Steve McQueen's Bullit is my favorite Mustang ever (that's a V8).

 

The new mustang is a very big step up for ford and it has nothing to do with the retro styling. This is the first time in history that the mustng has gotten a dedicated performance chassis made for it. On top of that the GT while only having 300hp is like every other V8 put out by Ford and GM meaning it makes very good numbers in stock form and takes very well to simple mods. While the 350z does have as much power it has nowhere near the same amount of tq and the VQ35 is wound so high in it's production form that modding it to make any real power takes ripping the engine apart. On top of that the 350Z is a pig, to me it is a disgrace to the Z car nameplate. Not that it is a bad car it's just that the Z's sense their induction over 25 year ago have been known for their light weight and nimbleness with the ability to produce good amounts of power in stock form and this car is so far off that concept it aint funny. IMHO the 350Z is just a re-worked Infinity

 

people who buy mustangs do so, in most cases, to hope to cure their "Small man syndrome"...

most of the stang owners who i know rely on their car to attract girls, and make them friends, as they seldon have the people skill required to do so without a "flashy car".

the rest of them are just guys who want to start with a V8 and build up..its amazing how many mustang owners i know who dont even care for ford, but they wanted somethnig easy to make "fast", so it came down to the stang, or an f-body, and the stang was what they came across first...

IMO getting laid is a good thing, heck I would go as far as to say it is a GREAT thing. heck ya gotta have a car of some sort, might as well get one that increases your odds of getting your grove on.

i dont need a car to get laid, so i dont see the point...i think that its kind of pathetic...

that forum actually has quite a few honda owners, and i think that its good, as like myself, they keep the fanboys in check..you know, the guys with V6 autos who go on and on about "beating turbo'ed civics" and such..

but for anyone here who might attempt to go there and cause trouble, starting board wars, especially with another one of my forums, will get you banned in a hurry.
