Make sure you check up on the shops work because they are some out there that will totally screw you including dealers!!

 

I finally got mechanic that I trust this weekend. He's the the brother of a guy that's known me all my life. He's an older guy but he builds motors up in Charlotte NC. You know there's gear heads up there a dime a dozen. I can't wait to get it back. He's going buy a 2.4 DOHC w/ only 30K on it. Then he's going to swap the head off of that one and put it on my motor. So something good will come out of all of this. I'm looking at anywhere from a 40-50 gain in my HP. So I guess I'm kinda glad this happened. I hate to spend the extra money. If the original mechanic had dome this right in the first place, I wouldn't be in the situation. But like I said, something good will come of it. She's going to be a little bit faster than before. Nothing to brag about really, but it sure will be nice having that little bit of extra power
