^^^there is actually some kind of kit out there for miata that makes it really easy to swap in a chevy 305 in! There's actually a guy in my neiborhood that did this. When I heard that car flying down the street, I almost sharted - it sounded like a souped up mustang GT

 

this guy i used to work with, used to work at a machine shop, and his boss there did a miata with a 454 twin turboed. the kicker? he did it all under the factory hood.

 

damn my boy daniel here i go to school with drives a focus zx3 with a 302 conv. cost him like 6 grand though...a sr20 would be a beast in a civic

 

ahh damn, he did that ford racing thing? i guess thats a kit you actually buy from ford. thats insane.

 

There's a car shop near where I live and they could swap a civic to right hand drive with an sr20 for about 8K.

 

ouch..that focus is gonnna shut people up because i dont think anyone backs down from a focus

 

yeah, but its a pretty well known kit, and its hard to mask the rumble of a small block ford motor to make people think its a four-holer.
