noob question

i know this will seem pretty stupid but is it even possible to burn out in a front wheel drive car? and if so how would you go about doing it?

Is that supposed to say boob question? or Noob question??

Anyway, you can drop your clutch (if its a 5 speed). Its not good for your car tho. You hold the clutch in, while revving the motor, then let the clutch out quickly. Your tires will smoke, until they eventually grip the road and you go. Or if you meant while standing still, basically do the same with the ebrake on. (Ive never tried that, but thats what my friend did).

RE: boob question

In an auto you can do a neutral drop. Basically have the car in neutral and rev it, then drop it into drive (again this is not from my personal experience), or you can do a brakestand, which I believe is a little harder to do. Using the gas and brake pedal, burn out.

Like I said before, these are not good on your car, at all, and I would not recommend doing them, I was just answering your question..

Ah just get a turbo, then you just do it just by slamming the gas..............Dont neutral drop it, youll end up walking home...

i had an auto civic, and i did a few neutral drops, all it did waschirp em', and i hoped alot, it really is bad for the car, i now have a gen 3 crx, and its a 5 speed, i burn out almost everytime i am going into 1st. at a light or stop sign...LoL it isnt to good for the clutch or motor, but im kinda motor shopin right now, so i dont care, anyway back on subject, i wouldnt do it in your auto civ. mainly because when you do it from neutral nuthin good happins, and when you do it with your E-brake from a stop, you go nowhere, cause you dont have enough horse power,(if it's stock) to start getting them to loose traction...(this is both from my personal experiences)LoL

Front wheel burn-outs are helped out by pulling the ebrake too. Only way a stock Civic's doin em though is with a neutral drop which comes highly unrecomended.

My friend has a '05 civic sedan and if you turn and mash it it will spin. In mine I can roast without even using the clutch. I can start going like 5 mph and then give it some gas and it will roast them. I also have and l.s.d. so it both tires frying!
