all that really matters is that Honda and Toyota are still 100% their own

for the person that asked about Acura, i was told that when you are in japan, acura is actually a honda, but when it is here it is acura(have you ever heard of the honda integra?) i guess it is the japanese version!! the real deal i guess??? but thats just what i was told, so dont yell at me if im wrong...LoL
Here is the thing, no matter how nice a car with a Honda badge on it is there was not many $100k+ a year people that want to be known as the rich guy that drives a Honda. The Acura was put here because as a whole Americans are way to concerned with their image and feel as if they need to drive a car that is known to be expensive to be accepted. It is the same thing as Lexas, Infinity.......neither one of them are potryed as they are here anywhere else. They are simply known as Toyota and Nissan. A interesting little fact. The Dodge Viper is not the Dodge Viper in Europe it is the Chrysler Viper because the dodge nameplate is looked down apon over there as a p.o.s. American company
