So to everyone who has had bikes, what can I expect to pay for insurance on a 2000ish GSXR 750?

Full coverage

i used to have a 98 zx6r with minor mods which included, 1 tooth down up front, jetted, muzzy lowering links, dunlop 208's, and a d&d slip on. i loved it but it was my only means of transportation and winter was closing in. so i sold it to get a car. im in the market for another and am looking to get a gsxr-750. i was thinking of the zx10r but i dont need that kinda power.

my one friend responded to a street racing call..a bike vs a car.. the bike hit 80 in a 35.. hit center gravel passing in the double yellow...and someone then clipped the back of his bike(oncomming traffic) he then ended up in the gaurd rail.. going 80... with some girl on the back of his bike.. he was wearing a helmet she wasnt.. but his front wheel bar went and snapped his neck to the point his head was resting upside down on his back..with a small gash in his forehead..instant death.. and the girl had slid off the bike she was sliced in half in like...2 places... my frien was first on the accident scene..he saw feet on the oposing side of the hill and went over..tapped them..was like..mam mam.. looked over the edge to find it was only her legs there.. the rest of her body was severed off... landed 30 feet below.. her head was opened like a can of food.. it was a gross mind picture.. my friend is still in counseling....

and i still want one... but i promised never to do anything stupid with one... someone almost clipped my escort mirror doing wheelies around me

How old are you? Any tickets withing the last few years?

I had one ticket (and it was a duesy...), and at 17 years old, it was costing me almost 200/month to insure.

I sold it after three months

Oh, I would say somewhere around 100-150. Maybe even lower since your past the 25 year mark (don't know for sure if that applies everywhere, or just MIchigan.)
