I have a 2003 R6, black w/red flames, carbon RR exhaust, PCIII, v-stacks, +1 front sprocket(118 WHP) I pay $90 a month for liability and comprehensive, im also 21. Thats what i pay now but i just got a criminal speeding ticket so that gunna go up. A really good bike forum is R6forumZ.com they are really laid back and funny. If your looking to get a bike i would suggest either a yamaha R6 or a honda 600RR.

Got my permit yeserday
When I took my moto permit test, they had me take the regular driving test also because I hadn't taken it in a couple years and have a couple tickets. The lady gives me 2 driving tests instead of a moto one and driving one. They had many of the same questions took so it was cake. They never noticed! Dropping $200 on the driver training because I was under 21, I must say I wasn't too happy about. But it was fun. Suzuki XLR. Like riding on clouds.

As for all this accident talk. Yeah, accidents happen a grip. Mostly, keyword mostly, it's young kids zippin around way to fast and not driving defensively. That young woman above saddens me. To shed some positive light on riding. The Stadium Controller at my old job has been riding for 31 years and has never once gone down.

Bike of preference is going to be the only bike I've ever cruised on for a long period of time and that was a CBR 600 F4i. Ditching tailgaters was heaven!

That is a good choice. the F4I is a great alround bike, more comfortable than the 600rr but still very quick. I rode a friend of mines F4I and that thing was really fun. If u have a little bit of skill, u can loft the front tire in the air in 1 or 2 gear easily. Just remember to not get too carried away with it until ur comfortable with it.

Im pretty sure Im gonna start on a 98ish GSXR 750. From what I have researched I think it will be the best bike for me.

I am pretty sure I would have killed myself when I was younger, but now, I drive like freaking grandma, my car has plenty of power to get me into trouble with quickness.

So I am pretty sure I wont get myself into trouble, now I just hope the bike doesnt get me into trouble, ie....wrecking.

Ive always heard, its not if you wreck, its how bad.
