my friend tried to tell me that His Dads 00'-03 GTP supercharged grand prix redlines at 9k. Is he high on crack rock, Or am i completely schooled by a noob?

GP's tach only goes up to 7 or 8k rpm's so unless he's gotten the rev limiter taken out and taken it to a dyno to get real readings, he'sfeeding you crap

Yea, my friend has one.....idoesnt redline at9k.

definatly not. i doubt they will rev past 7000. and you cant rev it over 4k in neutral or park.

that thing would blow up at 9k
my freind has a gt, and we raced it to its redline (6k) for about a hour, and it already started making wierd noises...and was drving like ****, with the transy slipping and crap...

Lmao, I knew he was leiing. I showed him the link to this thread and he didnt wanna go cause he said "He already knew the answer, and that he was correct" Allwell. Some people just won't learn.
