Well, sort of... Allright, I know most of you think the new Eclipse is weak sauce, right? Well, while you may have some valid arguments, they're all pretty much moot when you throw the new RalliArt Eclipse into the mix.

How about this?

- 6 Speed
- 4G63T identical to the EVO's except for the...
- ...HKS cams & turbo
- AEM intake
- RPS triple-plate clutch
- AWD system, also from the EVO
- Coilovers
- Brembos with 8 piston calipers in front and 4 pistons in the rear
- Yokohama AVS rubbers all around
- Mucho mucho carbon fiber bodywork

From the pictures, it doesn't look half bad, and it's probably a mother of a mover...

 

yea and then when u get ahold of it ya re tune and up the boost. BAM probaly 25% more power.

 

I actually like the new eclipses. I wouldn't want one though. Oh, and someone post some pics of that ^ asap.

It will never go into production. Mitsu is with their EVO like GM is with their Vette, they will not allow anything in their lineup to touch it. Plus Mitsu is on the fringe of going flop that is why they have pulled all racing programs(no more mitsu in WRC) so they can "re-configure" their assets.

i got to say that it does look pretty mean...but i doubt that would make it just like that

 

ive seen pictures of the ralliart car before, and i dont think that they will make a car to compete with the evo performance wise...

 

if it ever came out and i happened to have enough money for it, youd see me behind the wheel of one within a week of the release date. the only problem i have with the new eclipse is 1) underpowered for the weight and 2) WHEEL GAP. this seems to make up for both of those. and i think it actually looks really good compared to the base eclipse right now.

i would get one.

 

I've never really like the eclipse, but this one doesn't look that bad, but maybe i haven't looked at it long enough. I would prolly never buy a Mitsu unless it was an Evo. And the eclipse will never be up to the the level of the evo b/c 1. The evo is a performance race car, the Eclipse is not. 2. The evo seats 5.
