The Ralliart looks pretty cool, but I cant see it being produced alongside the Evo. Personally, Ive always been a bit of a closet Eclipse fan, but if I was ever going to buy a Mitsubishi, itd have to be an Evo.

The Evo has four doors. I've never been in an Eclipse or an Evo (maybe Levii or Sacs can help here), but i assume that the Evo seats 5 comfortable while the Eclipse is cramped. Plus its a PITA to get in the back seat of a 2 seater as well as not having that much leg room.

 

of course its a pain in the *** to get in the back seat of a two seater cause its not there


but i would much rather have an evo. the ralliart is a lot better looking then the standard eclipse but i still dont like it

i knew what you meant i was just joking around. but i was really surprised on how much room was in my backseat. weve ridden 5 people in that a few times. of couse im driving so i dont really know how bad it is. but im kinda short so i do have to have the seat close

 

I'm 5' 11" and still growing, so i need my space.

 

I just really cant see them producing this thing. It would almsot most deffinatly have to cost more than the evo and it couldnt really perform that much better and if it did it would have to be pretty much track only car, then I think you would get a better deal out of the EVO RS which it pretty much track only. I also dont see them realeasing this with the Evo X right around the corner. Althoug I di like it I just dont see it happening.


BTW, anyone who wants to go for a ride some time is welcome if your ever in the area, It should be getting tuned real soon thanks to D2 Motorsports for picking up a brand new AWD dyno. Im even planning a day at Thunderhill Raceway in Feburary. Lots of fun!!!!!

 

and yes, the evo has very comfotable seats for 4, and 5 isnt bad, i just hate sitting in the backseat with two other people. unless they are both cute girls, then i can handle it.

and the backseats of eclipses (1st and 2nd gen anyway, havent ridden in 3rd or 4th) are a joke. might as well not be there. i think a four seater is cheaper to insure, thats the only reason i can see for putting them in.

 

im 6'2" and i can comfortably sit in the back seat of a 3rd gen eclipse.
