to me that work is gettin sooooo played out already.... it reminds me when people say that an item is gay... not a person... and item... like a gay lamp. maybe its just me

Rice is used due to a lack of a better term. I guess we could call it "useless" if you like. Besides, the term is only perpetualized by those who are pro-rice.

agreed. Well, to me every mod that looks rediculous and not tasteful is rice. So here's a small list to show you what my personal idea of rice is:

-overwhelming amount of sponsor stickers on a non-race car
-ugly wings - not very tasteful, is it?
-a big coffe can exhaust connected to a stock exhaust piping on a car that's otherwise stock
-oversized and/or chrome wheels on a sport compact - it just doesn't look aesthetic and reduces performance
-fake scoops, especially in places they wouldn't be functional anyhow
-body kits are borderline - not a lot of people have nice kits anymore, but I have seen my share of nice looking ones
-chrome or colored window tint - c'mon, that's just ghey

I'm sure I can think of more, bu you get the idea
