Default ROTM, ROTY. Whatever....

[sm=rant.gif]Look, I am just giving JB hell. I think his hatch is dope, but there is nothing done to his car that couldn't be done with a couple of screwdrivers. If the Super D wasn't mine and I had to choose between his car and the Super D... the Super D wins hands down. How hard is it to screw a couple of side skirts onto a car? If I cared about ROTM, I would have spent the money for the SC on CF and a body kit. For me, priorities go: performance and everything that entails, exterior, interior.

This is the exact reason I didn't want to be in the ROTM again. Carbon fiber hood and/or body kit = automatic win. Nobody gives a **** what's under the hood in the voting except a few people who have been here a while. To be honest, half of my votes are probably just people voting for me, regardless of the car, but they know how much time and love I have put into my Civic. Hell, if time and love were a category, Forty04 would win every month. I am not saying the Super D is the raddest car on here; hell, I even said that I dont' think he is worthy, but as far as most improved and most knowledge gained and shared, it's no contest.

I have been holding my tongue for a month or better but I can't do it anymore. How many threads are there on here about how to install body kits? Few to none, that's how many. 99% of topics on here are performance based. And who are those queries directed to? Sacicons, that's who.

You have to stop and ask yourselves what car do you want representing this site for the rest of the year? Is Hondafreek's hatch sick? Yes, but he doesn't even own it anymore. Everybody wants JDM this and that. We all want a car to AutoX in and something to run at the strip. Well, if ROTY voting had anything to do with what was important, it would be a shutout. Well not a shutout because Hondafreek's hatch is insane and US3R1's coupe is sick, but you get the point.

You keep voting for the car that looks most like it should be on the cover of a magazine and I will keep voting for the best car.

I wish the votes were public so we could see who was voting for whom. I also wish that post count counted for something when voting. Everybody that voted for Sacicons sound off.

Street Sniper voted for Sacicons.

I voted for handafreek and jb. I like your care but I love hatchs. I wish you the best of luck and I am sure this little rant will get you a couple votes.

Jeez man that was a lot of pent up rage lol. I understand where your coming from tho. But you gotta remember there are people out there that are all show and no go, and like it that way. It comes down to taste. I do agree performance should come first

To be frank about it. In the feb voting the only car I hate is the one winning. I am not much on flashy civics

I'm torn here. I love modded civics inside and out. If you knew my gf you could ask her. I'm OBSESSED with this ****. I love turbo'd hondas, supercharged hondas, body kitted hondas, whatever. I love every aspect except the obvious downers that we all know exist in this tuner world. I know some people don't like body kits, I'm down with that. Everyone has their own opinions on what is dope, sick etc. Personally, I spent 20+ hours on my body kit alone. The side skirts are buddy club, but they are totally custom cutted, fitted and hand molded on. The hood is totally custom also. I'm not saying that everyone puts this much time into body kits, because that's an obvious no, alot of people bolt them on without even painting them, but some of us that are into that "LOOK" spend a lot of time and effort into making them that way. To me, with EVERYTHING in my life, its about balance. An all show and no go is just as bad to me as all go and no show. When I vote, I vote for balance. I voted for sac because I think he had the best balance for ROTY, and for ROTM I will vote that way as well. I was stoked when I get nominated because I felt finally people recognized me as one of the guys on here, instead of a newb. Do I deserve to win? I told my gf I shouldn't win, but im not the one voting so as with anything in the Usa its up to the masses to decide.

< voted for sacicons and sniper

I'm usually voting for the driver as much as the car. And the regular (and helpful) members always get extra points. I nominated you because I agree with most of what you said, and I've now been here long enough to know who's who and what's up. ALso I think it's a little ironic that kitted cars win here when the majority opinion seems to favor performance over looks.

My votes went to you (Sniper) and Sacs. I seriously have NO idea how people can go through this thought process:

"Jackson Racing supercharger... eh. JDM seats... F**K YEAH!"

I also can't see how people can go to the ROTY thread, see Sacicons' mod list and vote for anything else.

At least you have rims man... I got two votes when I was up for ROTM and I have more performance mods than JB.

No offence to anyone's rides. If you like it, rock it.
