so, about an hour ago, i was cruising with a friend, me in my crx, and him in his cobalt, anyway, we are doing about 65, and my car dies, wont start, so i open up my hood, look around, and notice that my cam gear is hanging out of the little cam gear/belt cover...so to make an end to my boring *** day, i have to re-build my motor...(will be fun tho) and yea, i got a ? to, another honda fan/freind of minehas a cam that he said he will sell for 75$, is this a good price???

 

is it the cam or cam gear that was hanging out?

if the cam gear was hanging out would it throw the timing belt and break it. by by head
