So this is my 2nd Civic and with both this one and the CRX... seems like everyone wants to race me. Never did they in any of my other cars... even the celica. So what makes every mustang, vette, oldmobile, occasional mini van dad, neon..... and way too many others want to race me. Cuz I just have a pretty stock Civic... with an fairly large exhaust and that's all. It's not like I have NOS or anything...lol I just think it's funny cuz some of these guys don't stand a chance.... the best part is to see the look on thier face though when they know they have been whipped by a girl Ok so i'm bored and just kinda always wanted to know!

 

I kno what you mean. I even used to have a Mustang and an Eclipse, and not that many ppl were interested in racing me in those. But as soon as I got the Si, everyone wants to race. Oo, the other day I was just drivin along to work, and this guy in a Denali Sierra was lookin so I looked back. And at the light we both took off..He must have had some stuff under the hood cause he kept up fairly well. And I raced my mom (yes lol I raced my mom) in our 2002 Silverado and the truck didnt stand a chance.
Its fun to race domestics, (especially guys in domestics) who think they are hella cool and smoke em. Especially when they realize it was a girl who just beat em. haha.

 

I think it might be because some people think that Civics, under no circumstances, can be made fast. I love proving them wrong though. I loved the look on peoples faces when they would start trying to mess with me and then they hear the turbo spool.

I've only had one or two races with the 928. I guess nobody feels like racing a 17 year old Porsche.

Cause of stereotypes, around here just about every teenager buys a civic slaps a 6inch exhaust on their car and thinks they are a street racer. I watched a guy in a POS hatch line up against my buddys cav with a S/C. My buddy told me that the dude yelled that domestics are all POS; it was ugly to say the least.
