No but for real, I have a question, my car is on stock suspension, and whoever sees it thinks it beeen lowered (ever scince I put my 17's with 205/40/17), so my question is why does my car look lowerd and I haven't even toched my suspension.Look at the pics to get a better idea (in my sig).oh, guess what, I finally orderd a AEM SRI, and should be getting it within 2 to 3 weeks, I'll keep you posted.

The reason why it probably looks like it is because the tires are closer to the fender.

actually the rims and tires shouldnt make a difference, i have the same size rims and tires and when lined up to the stock wheels and tires its pretty much exactly the same. and in my opinion for the most part i see a good deal of wheel gap in those pics, i'd def get some springs or coilovers, but in the end it still a pretty clean whip you got there.

If the new tire diameter is larger than the stock diameter, then I can see why people think it's been lowered......because the gap between the tire and wheel well would look smaller, therefore, the car would look like it's been lowered. Now I know why Math and Physics were mandatory in school!

negoti8or is right, your wheel diameter increased, so before and after might seem as the car is a lil closer to the rim, but the car is actually a lil higher now. also, why is the subject cai vs. sri? if you want to know i'll give my opinion. the sri is almost as good as the cai. if you live in a flood prone area you definitely want a sri unless you have a cai with a bypass valve. but i think youll be happy with the sri. neither one makes a HUGE difference so you should be satisfied with the extra lil pep from the sri and the "cool" new revving sound. congrats on the rims and sri.
