Fastest SUV on the market? I don't think so. lol. SUV's are just gas guzzling monsters anyway

actually, i think from the factory, it's the quickest in a straight line

runs like mid 13's... closest to that is probably the porsche cayene turbo, which runs like high 13's i think

Porsche Cayenne Turbo 0-60: 5.4 quarter mile: 13.8

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 6.1L Hemi 0-60: 5.0 Quarter mile: 13.5

Well i'll be damned

But wait... the Cayenne Turbo S does 0-60 in 4.8 seconds

I think if you want to buy a suv buy a suv, if you want a sports car buy a sports car. Nothing against what dodge has done but to me it is a rather pointless vehicle

*EDIT*

The trailblazer ss get to 60 in about 5.5 seconds and throught the 1/4 mile in the high 13's

The trailblazer isn't anywhere near as sexy anyway.

As for SUVs and cars, that statement is pointless. Do you need a truck for anything? I do. Do you like to have a nice peppy vehicle? I do. Man anyone who gets both with one vehicle sure is an idiot, huh? I know your OG Marty, and I mean no disrespect, but come on....

It is just my opinion. I see no need in a SUV that does sub 14 second 1/4 miles so I would not own one. I am not out here speaking out against them or anything.

As a boat owner, I only wish I could afford one (even if I could, think about the gas....).
