I think if you want to buy a suv buy a suv, if you want a sports car buy a sports car. Nothing against what dodge has done but to me it is a rather pointless vehicle
I totally agree. It is a terrible idea to make a SUV that is that quick. The chassis was never designed to do that, in fact, the chassis of an SUV is quite unstable due to the center of gravity bieng so high(causing them to flip over). If you want to pull something, you can pick up a decent diesel truck for the price which would be MUCH better than the SRT-8.

Yep to tell the truth I'd take a F-250 crew cab over that all day plus you can look at a turbo diesel wrong and be in the 12's

To me, all new trucks and SUVs are complete BS (they look like space ships). I think anything fast is awesome, so props to the jeep for that. As for being practical, different strokes. One of my dream vehicles is a late 90s suburban laying frame on bags, and thats practical for me. Being able to haul a$$ to and from soccer practice is practical to others. There is no such thing as a pointless vehicle..someone can always find a use for it.

Yea I can see where sports car performance could help you while pulling a boat
I was reffering to when I'm not pulling the boat... smart ***. My truck, although peppy, is a dog compared to that thing. I owned a ford once, whats the ****ing point... pieces of ****. Also, yes a diesel would be great, it would suck to park in the city and ****. The cherokee is quite a bit more stable than your average SUV too, although I don't think I would be autocrossing the thing.

**** it, tow capacity of 3500 lbs. I couldn't tow my dick with that thing....

See that is my point smart ***, when you transform something like that towing capacity goes down, while towing gas milage is going to take a dive, and in general it is not made to do it.
