I'm with Remmy. It doesn't get much more chill than Thievery Corporation. Some of their best cds are The Mirror Conspiracy, The Cosmic Game, and The Richest Man in Babylon, in case that gives you some more guidance as to what to look for.

Other than that, I'd say Tweekend by The Crystal Method, but it's breaks/bigbeat techno, so it's not for everyone.

Yeah baby! And if you have a dvd player in your car, you can buy The Central Park Concert dvd to watch while you drive (that actually might not be the best idea).

Will def check them out... and forgot about The Crystal Method.... i like them.... gotta add.

One more band i might add. I'm not a hippie, and im not going to cleaim to be a hippie. I'm not a giant fan of bluegrass, and im not a big fan of folk music, but i have found a band that fits in folk, bluegrass, jam band (typical current day "hippie" music), rock, blues styles.

String Cheese Incident.

They are basically a jam band but to get an idea of they're sound its like combining the Greatful Dead with Dave Matthews Band. Quite good stuff and it passes the time very well

Hell yeah man! String Cheese Incident is awesome. Dude, I can tell you and me are gona get along just fine. Moe also has some good stuff.

now theyre EVERYWHERE
