If I hadn't been at work tonight, it probably would have been my car that got broken into, not my dad's van. But yeah, they got into my dad's van. The joke is totally on them though because what they stole were tons of parts for hospital blood analyzers. They have no street value and no other use. Completely custom parts made just for hospital lab equipment. I hope they enjoy their useless junk.
It just makes me so mad. This is the second time thieves have hit our vehicles right in our own driveway, and it's the second time for dad's van. He got robbed in Memphis before. He locked the van, went inside, and when he came out the slide door was open and stuff was gone. The police said the thieves probably have some remote that sends out signals and they just went fishing to see what opened.
The other time was my old Civic, which my sister drives. They broke in, stole my amp, Type E 10 sub/box, and a crappy broken JVC head unit.
I hate to say it, but 90% of the crime in this city is racially based. There's a reason all the rich have moved to the west part of the city, hiding in their gated communities behind 12 foot brick walls while everything to the east gets taken over by thugs and thieves.

so its time for you and family need to get car alarms or even better a paging alarm system!
they are getting cheaper and cheaper. and even if they do have one of those fancy remote scanners then when they disarm it it will send a paging signal to your alarms remote letting you know someone disarmed the system.

that is by far my favorite pager alarm system ive ever used!!!!!! its cheap reliable and comes with 2 remotes, and the paging distance is just about twice as far as my higher dollar pager systems like my DEI hornet, viper ones ive installed. i have a hornet system in my truck right now and i plan on pulling that out to get the longer paging distance!

about two years ago someone broke into my car and stole the faceplate off my 500 dollar pioneer stereo! just the faceplate not the stereo! so needless to say i had a 500 dollar pos and no tunes! i was so f**king pissed!
