my civic I've had up to 115 but the fastest I've ever driven any of my cars was my cavalier against a BMW ???i I got up to around 143mph, and no my cavalier was no where near stock, it was a 97 Z24 punch out 20 over with built head and some other goodies. I've been a passenger in a z06 hitting 165 on the street, scary when your a passenger

My Cousin went a got a New £30K Nissian 350Z and i went on the motorway with him and that was a scarey experience. 0-140 in about 10 seconds. Thats Power

the in-dash tach shows 7000 and the dash-mounted tach shows 8000 WTF?!?!

 

Hmmm, I never noticed that before. I dont belive that is a tach though. Im not sure. Ill find out.

 

it is a tach and i dont understand either cuz i know aftermarket tachs are more true then factory tachs because the tach wire is tied directly to the distributor or coil pack but the biggest difference I've ever seen was a 275 RPM difference not a 1000 RPM and that motor will be bouncing of rev limiter if its tached out like that

Fastest in my Mustang not sure ran out of #'s at 155 but guessing around 170-175 by speed calculator...... The bad part i was racing another Mustang didn't see state trooper pull out but i passed him going that fast and the Trooper was doing 100. Needless to say i didn't stop but he did get my plate #. Many hours in court and a few fines but never lost my license (i got good lawyers). All together there were 13 counts,two felonies one misdomeanor and the others were just traffic violations but they dropped the felonies. Would have been 17 points on my license.
