I heard of someone using duct tape to tape a hole in the block...don't know if it's an urban legend or not, but sounds like something someone could do...[sm=goodidea.gif]

i heard about a military spec duct tape that is so strong that it can be used to patch holes in hydraulic lines with a single wrap. i need some of that!

had a throttle cable come loose on the freeway once. car came to a full stop in the fast lane. the only thing i could find in the car was a paper clip and a rubber band. i used the clip to hold the cable in place and the rubber band to hold the clip in place. i sold that car with the clip and rubber band still holding that cable I always wonder how long that lasted

speaking of rubberbands and stuff...I used a rubber band and two screws to hold my cupholder in place back in the days when I was driving a ZAZ
