well i have been looking into buying my 1st home recently and i finally found one in an area that i like and has the right options so i figured i would let u all see my new home too....its 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms, 2 car garage, loft, huge great room and a full basement.....it was just built a month ago so its nice....oh the possiblities with this one.....and oh how i am in debt now

If you look at buying a house as a debt..then you shouldnt buy it...other then that..nice house

thats cheap. IF u sold that house in my area it woulda cost like $400,000 I cant believe how cheap that is. (unless u put down over $100K)

 

nice house... where is it? it was only 167,000$? thats cheap in md you would only get a 4 room shack for that much!

 

I wouldn't think of it as debt, but rather an investment. At least you're building equity instead of throwing money away by renting. Congrats, I'll be taking the plunge soon as well.

Nice place, and nice gf too if ya don't mind me saying so. I agree with the others, that's a very good price for that much house!

 

$167k won't even get you a condo or a townhouse here. Either way, congrats. A house like that certainly has a lot of possibilities and a good chance of earning some equity later on down the road.

I think it's a great house! The only thing I don't like about it is the back - looks kinda empty. You should put up a deck there in the future. Congrats on the great deal!
