^ that is why i always use a jack stand.i have left my oil cap off but i figured out i did it when my hood wouldn't close. and when taking off my ricer hood i had to go get new bolts so i had no hood at the moment and i lefta wrench and a ratchet and drove around and thankfully they didnt fly off.
put3 grand into a d series only to blow it up 3 months later because i was doing myvalve lashes and forgot to tightenmy valve cover back down i hand tightened it and all the oil came out and there went the motor. ohhand i paid $700 for a body kit $450 for a hood with two monster nostrilsand $1500 dollars for a paint job

 

oh man, this one time changing wheels on my car, the jack broke/bent and my car like a few inches from the ground with no wheel on, alomst bad news right there (it was one of htsoe little jacks that comes with Civic's)

 

Thats what mine was, one of the crapy littel OEM jacks. I hate those things.

Backed into a tree on a camping trip with an expensive bike and rack on the back. New wheel and forks and new rack. Did a number to the car trunk too, of course. Arghhhhhhh.........

 

oh, cant forgot getting new tires put on at WalMart, and having them put the lift underneath my car shattering both underbody neon tubes running up and down my car, then i was pissed and they parked in front of a curb in gear (which at the time i didnt do lol) so i turned my car on it, it stalled and jumped forward, and shattered my front neon tube as well [:@]i was absolutely irrate

 

I definitely took the oil filter directions too literally. "Once hand tight, turn 3/4 turn..." So, I did. As soon as I started the car, *splash!!* I got out and look at all the oil and just shook my head.

A buddy of mine, or should I a guy that I know, forgot to tighten his lugs. He didn't realize it until after he saw his tire pass him on the road.

 

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! That is great. I mean I am sorry it happened to you, but that is priceless!!!!!!!!

 

I only regret three things. My body kit, spoiler, and the green interior that I got rid of. I dono, I kind of still like my body kit, I dono if I would like having a lip kit better instead or not.

$1100 mistake, I'm thankful for insurance. I still had to pay $100 out of pocket becuase apparently a DOOR isnt that expensive in the insurance company's eyes
