I've had experiances with live chat on boards in the past, so I'll offer my input. One thing, I know it would take alot of time to setup and get right. I also think it will take bandwidth away from the actual site. I'm not a computer guru, so I'm not positive. The last thing that I've actually noticed is that once the newness wears off, not many people use it anymore. One benefit I could see is quicker tech help. However, it's no good if nobody with the knowledge needed is in the chat room at that time. I don't know where I'm going with this, so I'll stop there.
