What'ya think of the z3 fenders for civics?

I think they're great when you buy FRP z3 fenders and shave the fender vents, effectively losing 4lbs and still keeping the stock appearance 
Really, it's hard to pull them off. I say stock body parts ftw.

$150 FRP fenders + $3 worth of sandpaper + $10 worth of fiberglass resin + $3 worth of fiberglass mat ftw
Either way you have to paint them... carbon fiber fenders just look awkward when they're not painted.
