I dont mean to be a dick about it either. i am only trying to help. my curbs are about 5 maybe 6 inches high. and yes they stop cars.

Yeah, I do concede that your visual representation does make sense and may very well work with 5-6 in curbs. The ones in my neighborhood are considerably shorter though...about 3 in. My point was originally directed more towards facing downhill though.

Right on...I pride us both on not being dicks. And nice pic by the way

Well i am glad we reached an agreement. and yes if you are parking down hill you would turn your wheels towards the curb. i remember this little slogan. UP UP AND AWAY! clever huh? and thanks for the compliment. its hard as hell to write with a mouse.

In a public place I leave it in neutral and use the parking brake (in case someone hits my car, afraid it would damage the drivetrain). In the driveway at home I'll put it in gear/parking brake.

sometimes when im on a steep hill stoped at a light ill pull the e-brake just incase my brake get messed up...also if its downhill because if someone rear ends me and i have the e-brake on then i might not be pushed as far into the intersection and get t-boned or w/e..

ebrake and in gear. if im getting towed from the back and the rear wheels are in the air the front wheels roll freely. so if it in in gear the wheels will fight the movement
