I like my kit... I also go to shows though. I feel I have a nice balance of Show, Go, and Handling.

Berz out.

You gotta watch out on the internet. As my teacher always tells me, anyone with a keyboard can write whatever they want on the internet.
Oh, I cross reference.

Body mods are heavy and they are just for decoration. There is a front bumper that I have seen that creates down(ward) force, but 99% of the ones that you see are fluff. As far as spoilers go, they can create enough downforce to assist in handling or weight distributon to warrant having one, but again most of them are not functional.

Like 40 said, link or quote something that you have issue with and maybe we can get it straightend out; and I mean something tangible, not "I dont' like body kits" or "19" wheels are the bomb."
wHY DO YOU NEED DOWNWARD FORCE ON A FRONT WHEEL FRIVE VEHICLE?

To illimate understeer, for starters.

I too, like a lot of other members above, learned what I know through toying with my car. As far back as I can remember, even when I was a little kid, I used to love taking things apart and trying to put them back together. I started building model cars when I was about 5 or 6. Then when I was 12 my uncle started letting me help him with his stock car.

Uselfull knowledge comes from reading, seeing, and doing. Trial and Error, that's all there is to it.

Everything I have learned I have either read in a Honda specific engine tuning book (not magazine), turning a wrench or asking those here who have more experience than I. I also don't mind trying things even if there is a chance it won't work out, or I might break something small (like ps feed line like I did a week ago).

As for body kits, I'm not completely against them at all, I have a Kaminari faschia kit on my wish list, while I am about performance before show, if ah oppertunity presented itself that I couldn't pass up I would get the kit before I finished the performance mods.

thats what happened in my case. i wanted the blitz body kit and when i saw that a place had the whole kit for 200 i took it. and i didn't have to worry about shippiing either. it was 15 min from where i live. so thats why i got my kit now instead of later.

Wait a minute... did he just refer to cars on a video game? This topic is about NFS? I made the mistake of coming into this thread thinking it was about real cars... bla.

Also, if I had a 600+hp civic I would rice it out to the max. Im talking about the most god-aweful wing and kit you've ever seen... why you ask? Wait til you lose to that heap of rice, you will feel like ****, haha.
