i bought a new pc, but only "sees" 3gb of RAM cuz its a win32 bit. i just got the cd that ordered fro best buy win64 bit, but for some reason my pc does not read the damn cd. when i try to open manually the cd it says that the drive its not compatible with win32. please guys give some info and help on this so i can install the win 64 so it can read my 4gb of memory that i have.. please pretty please... help me on this... its your chance computer guys... show me ( US ) that you can help!! ;)

Hmmm...that seems strange....I dont remember if I upgraded from Xp (32 bit) or a clean instalation of it but have you tried starting to the cd. If you change your Bios settings to boot from CD and then have the CD in it might go from there

Which version of Windows are you currently running (XP or Vista)?

pentium D (R) CPU 3.20ghz, 3gb RAM physical adress extension

system is microsoft windows xp 2002 media center edition service pack 2

is that the problem? my proccesor?

No, your processor seems to be ok. You have a Pentium D 940 w/ 3.2 Ghz, correct?

on my system says that its a pentium D but i dont see the 940... it is 3.20 ghz

Right-click on "My Computer"
Select "Properties"
Click on the "Hardware" tab
Click the "Device Manager" button
Double-click on the "Processor" icon

What does it say?
