Default wtf is wrong with me

For this week I was handed the keys to an `06 civic ex and I don't even have to pay for gas in it or anything...... Yet I find myself driving my 4 color `96 civic dx (no power steering, power windows, a/c, or anything like that) every day.... I am paying for gas when i could get it for free while driving a much nicer car. The `06 is soooooooooo disconnected feeling, its like driving my ps3. I love the way my pos drives it is very connected and just better........

Ok flame on

The only reason I'd drive the 06 civic over my 00' teg would be the free gas. My teg is lighter and has the same horsepower. Well... I'd drive it over my teg for the gas mileage in general. I get a stunning 25 mpg while driving city (6k shifts and open throttle ) and the 06 civic should get 35 city. I have never sat in a new civic, I don't know how much more comfortable their seats are, or how much roomier it is but I assume the seats are comfier and there's more interior space. I'm 6'4, 230lbs and my teg has just enough room for my to be comfy. You're not too crazy.

I've heard that before from a '92 Civic driver. He said the newer ones didn't feel like Civics anymore. There's definitely a fit and finish difference from when they were made in Japan to now.

the new ones are too big. I like 5th and 6th gens becasue of their simplicity and easy mod-ability. Idk, just dont seem same anymore.

I agree, after the 6th gen civic they lost all appeal for me, honda in general has as far as 2001+ models in general(including the S2000)

If you crashed an older civic like I did you wouldn't be so comfortable with them.

My was a double impact...I was in for the first one. Had I been in the car for the second one I wouldn't be talking to you now. And I remember yours, it was bad, but it wasn't to both ends of the car.
