There is this kid in my auto shop class that has a 350Z and he is insistant on making it loud as possible. One day he decides to take the Y-Pipe off his car (im assuming this comes from the headers as i have not taken a look after he took it out). His car is loud as hell but my question is what will happen with the exhaust leaking in the middle of the car? I was thinking that the leak would put exhaust into the cabin of the car.

 

Well, yeh!.........That's why they run the exhaust all the way to the rear of the car.

now that thats done...id like to take this time to say...that id like to express my outrage at this. unfortunately site restrictions prevent me from doing so as i might be banned because of what i say. but you understand, right?

 

Yes Nail I think I know where you are going and which fine word choices you would make, as I would undoubtably make the same. This is such a disgrace and people like that should not be allowed to own a car, they should be forced to take public transportation.

Agent, did this kid save the money for the 350z or is it another case of mommy and daddy buy me everything?

This is a case of mommy and daddy for sure. The kid blew his clutch out doing something stupid within the first month of getting the car at which time his mommy purchased a stage II performance clutch for him. He also blew the 3rd gear synchro on his trans, and yes he got a brand new trans. The thing that really pisses me off is the guy knows ZERO about cars. Its a 2nd year auto class and he prolly belongs in the 1st year auto class. Its really sad taht ppl that work there asses of in my class to learn as much as they can in the little time that we have in auto end up driving pieces of **** (or walking in my case) while ppl like 350Z kid drive around $30K cars and are a waste of a spot in my shop class as well as a spot on the lift where some1 could be doing some actual repairs or learning something useful. I really wanna tell my shop teacher what this kid did, cause i think that my teacher might be liable as it was his class that the mod was done in but i also don't need to get beat up.

 

ive never taken a shop class at my school and thats the reason why. theres so much fricken rice in my school its not even funny
