01 auomatic civic not cranking
 

i went somewhere this morning with no troubles. when trying to start car again it would not turn over. i moved the shifter and pumped the brakes a couple of times then the car cranked and ran fine. got home and turned the car off and tried to restart and would not turn over....battery is fine.. everthing works when key is on... has anyone experienced this before. any suggestions. thanks
