So I bought an 01 civic, timing belt broke bent valves. Bought another head with egr, mines non egr and put it on. I’m having problems with it misfiring and running crappy. Is it because of the egr? With it on there being unplugged is it still letting exhaust gasses into intake causing a different fuel mixture throwing off the computer? I was going to take thermostat housing off old one and put it in new one deleting the egr. But isn’t there more ports that need plugged in intake and exhaust? Thanks in advance
