Default 01 Civic EX Headlight Issue

Afternoon:

I wanted to see if everyone thinks the same on this situation that I am. I came back from vacation and my headlights/Low beams are not working. Checked the fuses and all are working and not blown. The high beams will work fine once the actuator is pushed forward. I asked Honda about it and they think it may be part of the headlight recall that happens with these cars but I haven't tried replacing the bulbs either.

Thoughts?

Throw the switch back and forth several times and if they fail to come on, it's a bad switch. Otherwise you'll have to wait till they stop again and start checking with a meter. I think the recall was for the bulb sockets, which would typically only affect one side if one went bad.

Thanks for the help MK378! I really appreciate it.... I think it maybe the switch.. I haven't replaced the headlights since i bought the car. But I'm not sure how old they are either.
