02 sensor location and Fuel filter location

Hey guys:
How many 02 sensors does the car have? Where are they located? I dunno if they are bad or anything but want to change them to complete the basic tuneup...already did plugs, belts and intake air filter...will do oil and oil filter this saturday, fluids look OK, none of them are dirty or anything...I know that the car has more power but what I am looking for is fuel economy...

Also, where is the fuel filter? I know that for sure it is not located @ the firewall because I did not found it there...
After I do all this, then I can reset the "maint req'd" light which lids on everytime I start the engine...
Please help...

The problem is that they changed the location of the fuel filter starting in the '01 model...I looked and looked in the firewall just like yours and it is not there...probably is at the gas line before the gas tank?[&:]

O2 sensor bungs are in two locations (some cars have one but that is not your case).
One is right before the catalytic converter; you will have to go under your car to see it.
The other is on your exhaust manifold.

Thanks...will check them both...

I see two types of fuel filters...
Which is the one for basic tuneup purposes???

RE: 02 sensor location and Fuel filter location

I searched the net and found out that there are two 02 sensors...one before and one in the catalyc converter...I believe the most important one is the first one which reads a/f mixture...will change that one to see if my mpg's increase...
Regarding the fuel filter location no one has been able to answer my question...c'mon guys, has no one changed their fuel filter in their 7th gen Civic? C'mon...
