03 civic transmission mount
Hey guys,
So i have had a rattling noise in the passenger side of my engine bay for a while. The Noise occurs when i am at around 3000 rpms and is the worst in 4th gear. It will rattle for a couple seconds sometimes, but then goes away when i shift into 5th and doesn't happen in 5th. I had a mechanic say he saw the transmission mount moving and that my transmission wasn't sitting in the mount correctly. I don't want to pay him 70 bucks an hour to not fix the problem so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas. The car was in an accident at one point in time, so the frame could be a little off, or the mount could be bad, but i don't have the money to replace the mount and have it not fix the problem. (The mounts only like $50, just don't want to waste my money)
