Default '04 CEL - P0340 Generic Camshaft Position - Advice Required

Hey Guys,
Got a CEL question here ….

My wife’s 2004 Honda Civic Si (EX in the USA) recently tripped a CEL. I scanned the system last night and the code that came back was “P0340 – Generic Camshaft Position Sensor A – Bank 1 Circuit Malfunction”
I’m curious on what my next steps would be to trouble shoot this CEL?
I’m assuming there’s an issue with the Camshaft Position Sensor but the car still runs 100% and we don’t see any issues with its drivability? If this sensor failed, wouldn’t the car not run / run properly?
Where is this sensor located and how easy is it to get access to if it needed to be tested / changed?
Anyone know the OEM part number for this sensor??

Thanks in advance for the help guys
