04 civic EX losing water/coolant

I've only started to notice this since it got cold out and I started using the heat, and at first it was just a coolant smell and small loss of water. I am not seeing an actual water leak anywhere and I have checked the dipstick for any signs of water in the oil, fortunately I don't see any (Should probably check again since it seems to be getting worse). The radiator itself is less than a year old and I changed the cap a few days ago still losing water somewhere though.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not really wanting to take it to a shop, but it's looking like I'm going to have to since I can't figure out where/why I'm losing coolant.

Finally stopped by a shop and they say my fans aren't coming on so the car is getting to hot and puking out water/coolant. He said the fans do work (tested them by turning on the AC?) just they're not coming on. I don't have a CEL or anything like that, could it still be a sensor?

I checked the relays and they were good so I changed the radiator fan switch, fans are working now. Hopefully no overheating or puking out coolant tomorrow.
